Hello, I'm David Matthew Bies, and I am running for political office to bring the democratic principles of our past great leaders into the future.

Born and raised in Tucson, I have always been deeply connected to the values and needs of our community. Growing up here has given me a profound appreciation for the natural beauty of Arizona and the vibrant diversity of our district. My journey began with a focus on environmental conservation, immigrant rights, and education, areas that I believe are critical to our collective well-being and future prosperity.

With a background in agriculture, beekeeping, and real estate investment, I have gained the skills and insights necessary to tackle the challenges facing our community. I have worked tirelessly to protect our environment, advocate for compassionate immigration policies, and ensure that every child has access to a quality education. My commitment to these causes is unwavering, and I am determined to bring meaningful change to our district.

My key policy proposals include creating opportunities for small businesses and trade schools, addressing food and water deserts in rural Arizona, and combating predatory practices by foreign companies to safeguard our natural resources and farms. These initiatives aim to foster economic growth, enhance community well-being, and ensure a sustainable future for all.

Additionally, I am committed to increasing funding for education to ensure that every child has access to quality learning, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. This includes improving school facilities, resources, and teacher salaries, as well as promoting STEM and arts programs to provide a well-rounded education.

I also believe in the importance of supporting our law enforcement and the Department of Corrections to create a more just criminal justice system.
